I’ve already mentioned Sony Music intern Xavier Barrade this week when I stumbled across his Epic Exquisite Corpse interactive art piece, and he’s popped up again with this amazing 3D paper-craft poster, for newly signed band Dry The River.
The posters were designed in 3D using Google Sketch Up, before being printed out in their component parts and hand-assembled, which took around 35 hours per horse.
I love this, and can imagine the effect it is having on street-level. Xavier has proven before that he is a incredibly gifted creative (you only have to look through his vast portfolio to see that), and with the support (and money) of Sony and Mother London behind him, I’m excited to see what he produces next.
