I’ve already mentioned Sony Music intern Xavier Barrade this week when I stumbled across his Epic Exquisite Corpse interactive art piece, and he’s popped up again with this amazing 3D paper-craft poster, for newly signed band Dry The River.
The posters were designed in 3D using Google Sketch Up, before being printed out in their component parts and hand-assembled, which took around 35 hours per horse.
I love this, and can imagine the effect it is having on street-level. Xavier has proven before that he is a incredibly gifted creative (you only have to look through his vast portfolio to see that), and with the support (and money) of Sony and Mother London behind him, I’m excited to see what he produces next.

Epic Exquisite Corpse

A massive online interactive Exquisite Corpse (or Consequences to me and maybe you) has been created by Sony Music Intern Xavier Barrade and Wake Up With Web Solutions. The aim of the game is to continue the drawing, using illustrations provided by the drawer before you as your frame from which to begin.

A pretty big drawing has already been produced and, despite having a few penises and naked people here and there, actually looks pretty cool.

My drawing is in the left hand top corner - you can just about see the awfully drawn cloud tree to the left of the screaming ghost thing.

I love this idea, and think it could get very big, very fast. Add your drawing to the mix here.

Screenshot from Innocent’s new cookery book Hungry?…which, as can be expected, is full to the brim with the brand’s signature quirkiness. I want to print this out and put it on my wall.
